Rishis International is situated in a tropical jungle, at the banks of the Ganges river in a small hidden village, unknown to tourists. A pure and sacred place, only 15 km away from the famous city of Rishikesh, known as the 'Yoga Capital' of India. An enchanting city at the footsteps of the Himalayas, at the bank of the famous river Ganges. City of Ashrams, temples, yoga schools and spiritual gatherings, having it's own charm. 


It is also ideally situated for visits to the nearby 'Raja National Park', where guests can have guided tours to see the majestic wild life of India.

Rishis International eco-inspired resort chooses to work with local staff and families to take care of our guests and give them a rich experience of hospitality. We offer our guests the possibility to visit the very core of the villages, to homes situated in the mountains, where life still exists in its most primitive and purest form.


Guided tours can be arranged in order to explore the surroundings, famous places, waterfalls and temple sites. For those who wish to have a more dynamic approach to their stay at Rishis, we also provide hiking, trekking, rafting and bungee jumping experiences.


We provide daily shuttle services to the city of Rishikesh, where our guests can do their shopping, visit restaurants, Internet cafe's etc.


Food meditation


At Rishis International we offer our guests the possibility to enjoy home cooked vegetarian, sattvic food, carefully prepared by a small family. It allows our guests to experience a state of awareness and meditativeness while enjoying their meals.

The meals are simple and basic, prepared from locally grown ingredients. We do not provide an extensive food menu at Rishis International, but we can assure that whatever is prepared, is prepared with love and care, giving our guests a full experience of slow food meditation.

We offer our guests the option of a daily menu, consisting of breakfast and dinner for the price of € 15,-per day. Besides this, filtered water and boiled water are always available in the kitchen area and we highly care for hygiene and a healthy, nutritious diet.


During our retreats and trainings we provide a specially adapted menu.


Reaching there


Rishis International is situated approximately 15 km from Rishikesh and approximately 35 km from the nearest airport 'Dehradun Jolly Grant Airport'. There a several flights per day from New Delhi International Airport to Dehradun. The flight takes approximately 1.5 hours to reach there. We provide shuttle taxi services for our guests from both Rishikesh and from Dehradun Jolly Airport, charging a minimal service fee based on the local tariff. The cost of the taxi service from Rishikesh can be estimated at € 15 and the taxi service from Dehradun Jolly Airport at € 30, which is to be paid directly to the driver. You will be picked up by our driver at the agreed point at the city or airport and dropped of at the resort, making your stay fully hassle free.
